[High-Purity Slaked Lime for Water Treatment, Construction, Chemical & Food Industries]

Hydrated Lime Powder

Hydrated Lime Powder, chemically known as Calcium Hydroxide (Ca(OH)₂) and commonly called Slaked Lime, is a white, dry, odorless powder formed by the reaction of Quick Lime (Calcium Oxide) with water. At Bigrock Mines & Minerals, we produce high-reactivity hydrated lime through an efficient and controlled hydration process using our in-house Quick Lime.

Known for its fine texture, high purity, and superior reactivity, our Hydrated Lime is used across a variety of industries — from water purification and waste treatment to construction, chemical production, food processing, and more.

Water Treatment Industry

This sector deals with the purification and treatment of water for drinking, industrial use, and environmental discharge. It includes municipal water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and effluent treatment units in factories. Hydrated Lime is used here to adjust pH, remove impurities, and treat sludge.

Construction & Infrastructure

This includes the development of buildings, roads, bridges, and civil engineering structures. The sector uses Hydrated Lime in soil stabilization, plaster, whitewash, and AAC block production to improve material durability, workability, and strength.

Chemical Industry

A sector that produces industrial chemicals, compounds, and raw materials for other manufacturing processes. Hydrated Lime serves as a base chemical, pH regulator, or precursor in the synthesis of products like bleaching powder, calcium stearate, and is also used in gas scrubbing

Sugar & Food Processing

This includes factories involved in the processing of sugar, pickles, corn, dairy products, and beverages. Hydrated Lime (in food-grade quality) is used in juice clarification, impurity removal, and neutralization of acidic components

Agriculture & Poultry Farming

This sector covers farming, soil treatment, livestock care, and composting. Hydrated Lime is applied to neutralize acidic soils, supply calcium nutrients, and act as a disinfectant in poultry sheds and animal waste management.

Environmental & Emission Control

Focused on air pollution reduction, gas treatment, and environmental protection. Hydrated Lime is used to neutralize acidic gases like SO₂, CO₂, and control harmful emissions from cement plants, power stations, and incinerators.
